AI phone receptionist for law officesWhen you're in court, someone else answers the office phone

WarmCall is an AI receptionist for law offices. It answers the calls you miss, asks only what kind of matter it is, checks your Google Calendar and books a consultation. Questions about a case come back to you as a callback request.

Why calls go unanswered at a law office

An attorney spends much of the day in court, in a client meeting or on a call. You can't answer the phone during a hearing. Even in a small office, the person who answers the phone isn't always free.

Someone looking for a lawyer usually calls several offices. If nobody answers, they move on to the next one. WarmCall answers those calls when you can't.

What the receptionist does on a call

  1. Answers in your office's name.

It names your office and asks who is calling.

  2. Asks only what kind of matter it is.

One sentence, for example a car accident, a divorce or a traffic ticket. It doesn't ask for the details.

  3. Checks the calendar and books a meeting.

A first consultation, an intro call or a follow-up meeting. It checks availability in your connected Google Calendar, offers two times, and books the one the caller picks. At the end it reads back the time.

  4. Passes on what it doesn't know.

Questions about the case, fees, case deadlines or a request for a specific attorney become a callback request.

It gives no legal advice

The receptionist gives no legal advice. It doesn't tell the caller whether they have a case, what the case is worth, or promise an outcome. Every legal question goes to the attorney.

It doesn't make up numbers for fees either. If you didn't write prices in the portal, it says the attorney sets the fee after the consultation. Then it offers to book a meeting or a callback from you.

What goes in the calendar

The calendar event records only the type of matter, for example "First consultation – car accident". The facts of the case and personal details are not written in the calendar. You hear the details in the meeting itself.

An arrest or a police interview

The receptionist recognizes an urgent situation: an arrest, a police interview happening now, or immediate danger to someone. Then it tells the caller that if anyone is in immediate danger, they should call 911 now. It also says the request is marked urgent so the attorney calls back as soon as possible.

After that it takes a callback request and marks it urgent.

It answers only from what you wrote

In the WarmCall portal you fill in your office's details:

Address and directions
Parking
Practice areas
Prices it may mention
Payment options
Cancellation policy
Team
Common questions

The receptionist answers only from this information. It doesn't guess at anything that isn't there. It offers a callback from the attorney.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't replace the attorney or the office staff. It answers when nobody is free.
  • It gives no legal advice and doesn't judge anyone's chances.
  • It doesn't collect case details over the phone.

Questions and answers

Does it sound natural?

It speaks English and Spanish, and you can hear it on a demo call to a US number before you decide.

Which calendar can I connect?

Google Calendar. It checks availability there and creates an event for each booked meeting, with the type of matter only.

Can we keep the office's phone number?

Yes. Your number doesn't change. Calls you miss are forwarded to the receptionist. We set up the forwarding together on the fit call.

Does it ask the caller about the case?

No. It asks only what kind of matter it is, in one sentence. The caller tells the details to the attorney.

What happens when someone calls after an arrest?

It tells the caller to call 911 if anyone is in immediate danger, and takes an urgent callback request for the attorney.

What about privacy?

The service keeps call data, including recordings and transcripts, as described in our Privacy Policy. Before using it at your office, check how it works against the professional duties that apply to you.

Rather than read about it, hear it.

Call the demo line to hear how the receptionist answers and asks questions.

This is a demonstration call. Tell it your type of business and it answers as a sample business of that type. Please don't share real personal details.
